I received 2 invitations from 2 different high school reunions. I moved from one town to another when I was in the 8th grade. I kept my friends I had from grammar school through junior high school. I feel very blessed that all those friends I had in my early school years are still my friends for more than 40 years. We don’t get to see each other because we all live in different states now. We communicate with e-mail or the phone. When we do talk on the phone, it is like time stood still and we are all teenagers again. It’s really a great feeling. I was unable to attend either one of the reunions, but my friends that did attend called me while they were at their reunions. It was fun to reminisce the things we all did together when we were young. It sure makes me feel special to have such good friends.
